Why do I need an orthodontics specialist?

An orthodontic specialist has extensive and specialized training that enables them to provide their patients with professional, personalized treatments that most dentists are not educated in. Dr. Baker has been featured as a Top Dentist in both the 5280 Magazine as well as the Colorado Parent Magazine for her expertise in Orthodontics.

Do I still need to see my dentist?

Absolutely. We find the best care occurs during a partnership with your dentist. Regular check-ups and cleanings are important during treatment to achieve an ideal result.

Appointments to fit your lifestyle.

Overall Treatment Time

In general, treatment time can vary greatly and depend on the complexity of your case. During the initial consultation, Dr. Baker will be happy to review your treatment options in consideration of treatment time.

Frequency of Visits

Appointments are scheduled according to each patient's needs. Most patients will be seen every 5 to 10 weeks. If there are specific situations that require more frequent monitoring, Dr. Baker will schedule accordingly.

We treat a wide variety of orthodontic needs for our patients.

Your Initial Exam

During your initial visit, Dr. Baker will evaluate your teeth and jaw, discuss any potential concerns, and propose treatment options as needed. She encourages patients’ and parents to ask questions and provides ample time to answer all concerns.

Invisalign is the perfect solution to fit your lifestyle.

Invisalign aligners are clear, removable trays that gradually shift teeth. They are virtually invisible, easy to clean, and can reduce treatment time by up to 50% for adults and teens with certain orthodontic bites.

Braces today are smaller, more comfortable, and more attractive.

Braces are an orthodontic solution where brackets are bonded to the tooth and connected by a wire thats helps guide teeth into the correct position. We offer both metal and stain resistant clear braces to fit your aesthetic needs.

Every patient evaluation includes evaluation for TMJ dysfunction.

Patients suffering from this condition will be fitted with a customized splint made entirely in our office to align the jaw with the teeth and reduce symptoms such as headaches, neck aches, facial pain, vertigo, tinnitus, limited mouth mobility, and jaw ‘clicking’.
